Chris has been with the UCOM as full-time instructor since 2001, teaching guitar and later in 2005 drums. He's been an active musician in the community and southern Alberta playing with various bands and performers ranging from musical theatre, country, rock, blues and old time. He's also been a session player and producer on countless recordings at Absynthe Studio, his recording studio where he does his lessons with UCOM.
Prior to becoming staff, he was a UCOM student in piano and guitar from 1989 til 1999. He was able to compete and participate in all the same events that we do now, such as festival and recitals.
