Tammy began her musical journey at 9 years of age. Her focus was classical and theatre organ and later transitioned into piano. Tammy has attended many technics seminars over the years including classes on jazz with Derek Stroll MRU and classes with Boston Berklee online. Her main focus is on teaching preschool and improvisation. Tammy was born,and raised her two adult daughters in Medicine Hat. She has 40 years experience teaching at the United Conservatory of Music and has been the U.C.O.M. festival past president for 14 years. Tammy has cultivated many amazing students over her tenure at the U.C.O.M. Tammys greatest passions are teaching music and her students.
